About

PixelQuest started as a group chat where four friends kept arguing about which mobile game to install next. We got tired of downloading things based on flashy screenshots that never matched the actual game, so we decided to write down what we found and share it.

We are independent. Nobody tells us what to score or which games to feature. Every title we cover is one we actually installed and played, usually for several evenings, sometimes for weeks when the progression hooks us.

We care most about story, character growth, and whether a game respects the person holding the phone. A good mobile RPG should be playable on a bus and still feel meaningful. That is the bar we measure against.

When we pick games for review, we look at what readers ask about, what is climbing the charts, and what quietly surprised us. Then we play, take notes, and only publish once we have a real opinion.

Lukas Brandt — Lukas has been reviewing mobile games for eight years and still keeps a spreadsheet of every RPG he has finished. He runs the editorial side of PixelQuest and does most of the long story playthroughs.
