Big Bass Bonanza
Big Bass Bonanza turned out to be a lot more relaxing than we expected. It is a casual fishing game built around simple taps and a spinning reel of colorful icons. You watch fish and props line up, and the game rewards you with little animations and a cheerful jingle when things click into place. It is the kind of thing you open while waiting for a kettle to boil.
The controls are about as easy as mobile gets. One button starts a round, and everything happens automatically after that, so you can play it one-handed. What kept us coming back was the presentation: the water effects are nice, the fisherman character has a goofy grin, and the whole thing has a warm, sunny vibe. Sessions are short, which fits the format perfectly.
We would not call it deep, and after a while the loop is very familiar. But as a low-pressure filler game it does its job. If you want something bright and undemanding for a two-minute break, it delivers exactly that with no fuss.
