Emberfall Chronicles

Emberfall Chronicles is the mobile RPG we tell friends about first. You lead a small band of exiles across a dying kingdom, and the writing carries real weight. Companions remember what you said three chapters ago, and side quests fold back into the main story in ways that genuinely surprised us.

Combat is turn-based but snappy, with a clean interface that works well on a smaller screen. Character progression is the star here: skill trees branch in meaningful directions, and respeccing is fair enough that you can experiment without dread. We rebuilt our tank into a support caster halfway through and never regretted it.

Our only gripe is the slow start. The first hour is heavy on tutorials. Push past that and you get one of the richest story RPGs on mobile right now.
